this is such a cute picture! i really do like the color. her outfit and hair is so cool! @_@ wish i had hair like that and a jacket like that ><
mm, if there's anything to critique, i think the biggest thing is just the background. i really wish the stripes continued off the page instead of stopping :[ or maybe it could have been cropped out but then at the bottom the legs would be cropped off too and it would look weird stopping just at the skirt. the folds are really nicely shaded though~ she also looks a bit unbalanced, because she's standing really stiffly but almost leaning to the right. mm, a helpful hint we learned in figure drawing is that if you imagine a line going through the shoulders and through the hips, then those two lines are hardly ever parallel to each other, unless the person is trying hard to stay straight. usually like if someone has a hand on their hip, the weight will be shifted to one leg, therefore propping up one side of the hip, and then the shoulder line will most likely also changed opposite to that hip change~

But the hip thing i had absolutely no clue about~ That is definately something im gonna keep in mind next time i draw~~ Thanks tenshi I was beginning to miss your critique a bit, since the short comments are nice, but not as helpful...
